Wide Plank Click Engineered Wood Flooring
Wide plank click engineered wood flooring is real French oak in long, wide boards. At 1190mm long and 185mm wide, each board shows off the grain and gives a room a calm, open feel. The boards have a real oak top layer on a stable fibreboard core and click together.
Our Parkwood wide plank, made by BerryAlloc, comes in two colours: Albatre, a pale white oak with a slight pink tinge, and Nude, a very light beige with the look of unfinished oak. Samples are £1 each, with up to four per order, and arrive in 1 to 2 working days.
Why choose wide plank
Wider boards mean fewer joins across the floor, so the oak grain reads as one surface. Wide plank suits open-plan rooms, living rooms and bedrooms, and helps smaller rooms feel larger. Both colours are pale, which keeps a room bright.
Board size and coverage
Each board is 1190mm long, 185mm wide and 10mm thick. A pack holds 10 boards and covers 2.20m². Allow around 5 to 10% extra for cuts and waste.
Fitting
The boards click together and float over a suitable underlay on a flat, level subfloor, with no glue or nails. Wide plank is one of the simpler wood floors to fit yourself if you are confident with DIY.
Underfloor heating and warranty
Parkwood wide plank works with water and electric underfloor heating up to 27°C and comes with a 20 year residential warranty. For bathrooms and utility rooms, our wood effect LVT is fully waterproof. You can also see our herringbone engineered wood or the full engineered wood flooring range.
