Pet Friendly Sheet Vinyl
Pet friendly lino is a practical floor for homes with dogs and cats. Sheet vinyl is waterproof, so accidents and water bowl spills wipe away, and its wear layer protects the design from everyday scratches. It is also warm and soft underfoot, which pets like to lie on. Every sheet vinyl design we sell is suitable for homes with pets. Samples are £1 each, with up to four per order, and arrive in 1 to 2 working days.
Why sheet vinyl works with pets
- Waterproof: accidents, muddy paws and spilled water sit on the surface and wipe away.
- Few seams: laid in one piece, so there are no gaps for hair, dirt or liquid to collect in.
- Easy to clean: a vacuum and a damp mop are all it needs.
- Warm underfoot: more comfortable for pets than tile or stone.
Choosing a pet friendly lino
The wear layer is the clear top layer that takes scratches from claws. For a busy household with larger dogs, choose a thicker wear layer: Dasos has 0.4mm, and Apollo and Arianna have 0.35mm. Patterned and wood effect designs hide hair and paw prints better than plain pale colours. Most designs come in 2m, 3m and 4m widths.
