Is LVT flooring waterproof?

Most LVT is highly water resistant on the surface and excellent for kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms. Rigid core SPC ranges are fully waterproof through the body of the plank, so they are the safest choice for rooms that see frequent spills or steam.

Can LVT be used with underfloor heating?

Yes, the majority of LVT ranges work with underfloor heating provided the surface temperature does not exceed 27°C. Always follow the manufacturer instructions for the specific product, including warm up periods, to protect the floor and your warranty.

How long does LVT flooring last?

A quality LVT floor that is fitted correctly and looked after well will typically last 15 to 20 years or more in a domestic setting. Wear layer thickness is the biggest factor, so look for thicker wear layers in busy hallways, kitchens and pet households.
