Victorian Tile Effect Sheet Vinyl

Victorian tile effect sheet vinyl gives you the look of a traditional patterned tile floor, with geometric and encaustic designs inspired by Victorian hallways and kitchens. It is warmer underfoot than ceramic tile, fully waterproof and comes on a roll, with no grout lines to clean. Our Victorian tile effect vinyl flooring includes classic Victorian and art deco patterns from the Ajax, Kefi, Nectar, Apollo and Arianna ranges, in blues, greens, greys, beiges and terracotta. Samples are £1 each, with up to four per order, and arrive in 1 to 2 working days.

Choosing a pattern

• Classic Victorian: Ajax Victorian Blue, Victorian Beige and Victorian Green, and Nectar Victoria Grey and Victoria Pastel, have the patterned borders and centre tiles of a traditional Victorian floor.
• Art deco and geometric: Kefi Art Deco Blue, Art Deco Floral and Art Deco Grey, Apollo Geometrix Pastel and Geometrix Grey, Ajax Hexagon Tile, and Arianna Circlo Grey and Circlo Beige have bolder, repeating shapes.
• Terracotta: Ajax Terracotta Splash brings warm red and white tones that suit a farmhouse kitchen.

Where to use Victorian tile effect vinyl

A patterned tile floor is a classic choice for a hallway, and it works just as well in kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms. Every design here is waterproof, pet friendly and suitable for underfloor heating. For a busy hallway, choose a design with a 0.35mm wear layer, such as Apollo or Arianna.

Backing, thickness and warranty

• Cushion backed: Ajax (2.8mm), Apollo (2.4mm) and Arianna (2.75mm, with an acoustic cushion backing) feel soft and warm underfoot.
• Felt backed: Kefi (2.5mm), Nectar (2.6mm) and Juno (2mm) are firm and stable.

Wear layers range from 0.2mm to 0.35mm. Warranties run from 7 years on Ajax to 15 years on Apollo and Arianna.

Widths, ordering and pattern placement

Most designs come in 2m, 3m and 4m widths, and Arianna comes in 2m and 4m. Choose a width that covers the shortest side of your room in one piece, then order the length you need. With a patterned floor, lining the pattern up with the main doorway or the longest wall gives the neatest result, so allow a little extra length for your fitter to position it.
