Herringbone Lino Vinyl Sheet Flooring

Herringbone lino gives you the look of a classic parquet floor in sheet vinyl. The pattern is printed onto a waterproof vinyl floor that comes on a roll, so you get a herringbone floor in one piece that is warm and soft underfoot and much quicker to fit than real wood blocks. Our herringbone sheet vinyl comes in light oak, mid oak, elm, walnut and grey, from the Ajax, Kefi, Dasos, Nectar, Apollo, Arianna and Juno ranges. Samples are £1 each, with up to four per order, and arrive in 1 to 2 working days.

Choosing a colour

• Light and natural oak: Ajax Light Oak Herringbone and Oak Herringbone, Apollo Muted Herringbone, Nectar Georgian Herringbone, Dasos Oak Herringbone, Arianna Parquet Chic and Kefi Elm Herringbone.
• Darker wood: Kefi Walnut Herringbone and Apollo Boathouse Herringbone have deeper, richer tones.
• Grey: Ajax Grey Herringbone, Nectar Swiss Herringbone and Juno Grey Herringbone suit modern kitchens and bathrooms.

Herringbone lino or herringbone LVT?

Herringbone lino comes on a roll and is laid as one continuous piece, which is quicker to fit and usually lower in cost. Herringbone LVT is laid block by block, with a thicker build and the texture of individual planks. If you want real oak, see our herringbone engineered wood flooring.

Backing, thickness and warranty

• Cushion backed: Ajax (2.8mm), Apollo (2.4mm) and Arianna (2.75mm, with an acoustic cushion backing) feel soft and warm underfoot.
• Felt backed: Dasos (2.8mm), Kefi (2.5mm), Nectar (2.6mm) and Juno (2mm) are firm and stable.

Dasos has the thickest wear layer in this range at 0.4mm and a 15 year warranty, which makes it the most hard-wearing choice. Warranties across the range run from 7 to 15 years.

Where to use herringbone lino

Herringbone sheet vinyl is waterproof, pet friendly and suitable for underfloor heating, so it works in kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and hallways. In a hallway, running the pattern along the length of the space makes it feel longer.

Widths and ordering

Most designs come in 2m, 3m and 4m widths, and Arianna comes in 2m and 4m. Choose a width that covers the shortest side of your room in one piece, then order the length you need, with a little extra for trimming at the walls. You can also browse our full sheet vinyl range.
