What is click vinyl flooring?
Click vinyl is a type of LVT flooring with an interlocking edge profile. Planks click together to form a single floating surface that sits over a thin underlay or directly on a smooth, level subfloor. There is no need for adhesive, which makes it a brilliant choice for DIY installation and rooms where you may want to lift the floor again in the future.
Click vinyl vs glue down vs SPC
Click vinyl floats over the subfloor and is the easiest option to fit yourself. Glue down LVT bonds permanently to the subfloor and sits flatter, which suits commercial settings and very busy rooms. SPC flooring is a rigid core click vinyl built around a stone composite core, giving you the easy fit of click with extra dent resistance and dimensional stability.
